NDIR CO2 (Non-Dispersive Infrared Carbon Dioxide) transmitter is a device used to measure and monitor the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. It works on the principle of measuring the amount of infrared radiation absorbed by CO2 in a sample gas. The transmitter includes an infrared light source that emits a specific wavelength of light, which passes through the sample gas and is detected by a receiver on the other side. The amount of infrared radiation absorbed by CO2 is proportional to the concentration of CO2 in the sample gas. The transmitter converts the detected signal into an electrical signal that can be displayed and recorded for monitoring purposes.
